Day 18: Chibi & Kun-Kun @860g

Kun-Kun is an another cat who I moved from Tokyo together with. She is a 8-yrs-old calico cat with white body. She also doesn't have an eye sight of right eye just like Ni-Ni. She is curious at anything and Chibi is an best object of her curiousity lately. But she's still never approached to Chibi, just gazes at Chibi from a distance. But they've got a nearmiss the other day. Chibi was going up to Kun-Kun, and Kun-Kun kept hissing at Chibi "Get lost!", but Chibi didn't care at all and getting closer and closer. What is gonna happen??? You can see the photo, Kun-Kun suddenly got ready for an attack to Chibi. HaHaHa, Don't worry Kun-Kun, Chibi even doesn't know what you are. PS: Ni-Ni is shy and timid, always stares at Chibi hiding herself just like this photo.

Day 15: Chibi's 1st Bath @670g

The vet suggested me to give him a bath and take scabs off. So today was a memorable day of the first bath in his life. He was unexpectedly so quiet and just accepted how he was treated during a bath. He didn't seem to be uncomfortable, I guess he liked it. When I put him in warm water, he even closed his eyes like he was falling to sleep. You are so clean and smell nice now. Chibi, good boy!

Day 14: Chibi Toddler! @630g

Chibi started walking today! He just toddles, but can see where to go and get to his distination. Look, his face, full of self-confidence. He is growing!

Day 12: Sleeping Chibi @550g

Chibi's got 3 things to do everyday, to have milk, pee & poo and sleep. The most of time, he sleeps in his bed, maybe more than 90% of a day. During his sleep, he often twiches a lot. I guess he can run so fast or fly hight in his dream. After a milk time, his belly becomes like a ping pong ball. I like him sleeping like this.

Day 9: Chibi's Eyes Opened! @440g

Chibi's eyes were just opened! They're not completely opened and seem there is no good eye sight yet. Puppy usually opens their eyes around 10 days, so he grows slowly a bit. Don't worry, you'll catch up soon.

Day 8: Chibi met Ni-Ni @400g

Chibi met my cat Ni-Ni first time today. Ni-Ni is a 9-yrs-old female calico cat. She doesn't have left eye ball from the birth. She is very delicate and also very difficult. She doesn't get along with anyone, even my another cat Kun-Kun who lives together with her for long time. She shows her trust only to me. But she is not aggressive at all, always calm and quiet. When Ni-Ni saw Chibi, she just stayed away from him and kept staring out at him like "What is this tyny creapy black creature???" I wish they would be good friends. I guess it depends on Ni-Ni.

Day 6: Chibi's Bro & Sis @330g

Chibi met his family after 6 days today. Other brothers and sisters are growing fast and already became more than 500g. They are all fine and have no wounds, that's good. Today's photos show you how much Chibi is smaller than others. The body size doesn't matter, I just hope Chibi doesn't have any phisical disorders...

Day 4: Chibi's Pus @305g

Chibi's wounds all became huge with pus again and went to the vet again. The vet said that those wounds might be caused by gnats (look like small flies which suck blood). Very possible, cuz he was born in a bush. The vet cut his bumpy wounds with a sharp knife and squeezed pus out. Chibi kept screaming from pain during the treatment. Poor baby, it is only 10 days since he was born, but he has to take such a pain everyday...

Day 3: Chibi at NCTU @300g

Chibi went to school with me today cuz he has to drink milk every 3 hrs. He slept through whole class, but suddenly started making noise like a chick "peep peep!!". I looked into his bed, then saw a tiny poo. "Why now, Chibi?!" One student from US seemed to get awared of strange smell, but he just smiled at me. Dog lovers are always heartful. After class, I had sandwiches, he had milk at the cafe. Did you enjoy the first attendance at Chinese class, Chibi?

Day 2: Chibi's Wounds @295g

Chibi is still weak and whined all night yesterday. I gave him milk every 2 hrs, kept him warm, made him poo & pee, but still kept making noise. Maybe he's missing mom. The vet squeezed pus out last night, but his wounds with pus got bigger again. I decided to take care of them myself. I poked his wounds with a needle of syringe and slowly press pus out. It looked so painful but he was quite calm. When I cleaned up his wounds after treatment, he already fell asleep, zzz... Sleep tight, Chibi.

Day 1: Dying Chibi @290g

I went to the driving range for golfing practice today and saw one stray who lives there delivered puppies. I started counting them, one two three...no way, 11 puppies! I've never seen such a big dog family before. People in the driving range are all dog lovers and kindly prepared their bed and food. All puppies looked fine except one puppy, he doesn't move, whine, and his body is much smaller and colder than other puppies. "He is dying..." I heard that weak puppy sometimes dies cuz dogs have only 10 nipples. I brought him to the vet. He is weak, but the real problem is his pus. He's got so many wounds and some are badly festered. When the vet squeezed them out, I almost fainted cuz pus came out a lot from wounds! The puppy screamed from pain and I couldn't see the treatment anymore. Later he got a huge shot of antibiotics + glucose and medicine for worms. But there is only one hope, he drunk milk little bit. I named him Chibi, chibi means "tiny" in Japanese. He is only 7-day-old male cute puppy. Chibi, get well soon.
